SPEAK UP FOR RESPECT!

Can you believe that many business owners are afraid to talk to others?
It's true. Many people have a fear of speaking to others, approaching others. This includes returning phone calls and initiating calls. In order to be successful in this industry, you have to talk to people.
Most MLM / NWM businesses have a training. They train you to talk to others, how NOT to be afraid and you learn how to get your point across. It's such a big deal, many have written books on this very subject. So you've gone over the material, you know your business inside and out and yet when it comes to speaking up about it, you freeze! Is this you? Well if so, there is hope.
The best thing you can do is practice. Practice, practice, practice. Practice in the mirror, practice on the phone with family members & friends. Get a phone list and start calling people who have expressed interest in working from home. When calling them, don't focus on actually selling them, think of it as practice. It's a great experience and you'd be surprised how your fear will turn to excitement. Smile and Dial!
Remember this, "He who does not have the courage to speak up, cannot earn the respect of others"!

The Best Remedy for ANGER.

Anger, the emotion that can make you nuts, drive you to do something or anything you may regret. So how do you deal with it in life and business?
Here's a way I have dealth with anger for a long time and it works!
DELAY!
When something or someone sets you off and you just want to explode, the best thing to do is wait. Yes, I said it, WAIT!
Oftentimes you will find that it just works itself out. Then there are no hurt feelings, no apologizes to give, and no mess to clean up.
The greatest remedy for ANGER is DELAY! It's also good for your health

DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW?

Knowledge is truly Power!
When it comes to your business, how much do you know? How much do you need to learn? And, how much about your business don't you know?
These are important questions that will help you to succeed in your business. I am constantly learning about my business. There are changes made daily and in order to succeed, I must keep up with the changes and stay connected to the training portion of the business.

For me it symbolizes freedom and letting go.
Be free to fly and experience what life has in store for you. Don’t stay on the ground, held down, trapped by negativity. Be fearless and reach for the stars. You never know what’s out there waiting for you. To let go of the dirt means to let go of the negativity, let go of what’s keeping you down and keeping you from success. Let go and fly!

BAD HABITS...

Bad habits is like a comfortable bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out of. Remember that quote when it comes to your life daily. Be sure that you’re not consistent in making bad habits. Learn from your mistakes and always look for the positive within the negative.

IF YOU HAVE A DREAM, GIVE IT A CHANCE TO HAPPEN!

Why are we so impatient when it comes to success? Perhaps it’s because we really don’t know what to expect when it comes to success. Some people will start a MLM/NWM business and if they have made no money in 1 month, they are ready to quit! You’ve heard the term “Nothing Good Comes Easy”, well Nothing Good Comes Fast either. Your birthday only comes once per year and we wait patiently to celebrate. Christmas only comes once per year and we wait patiently to celebrate. A graduate waits four years to celebrate. Get my point?

So if you have a dream, give it a chance to happen!

IS ONE BUSINESS ENOUGH?

Can people really be successful running more than one business at a time? Some think so, but for me, no. I am deeply committed to my business. I am so busy running my business and handling life, I don’t have the time to run more than one business at a time. I could not give my all to more than one Network Marketing business. I will not quit until I have faithfully made the most of my talent and cultivated the seed that was placed in me until the last small twig has grown. I hate to see things done by halves. If it be right, do it boldly - if it be wrong leave it undone.

THERE’S NO SUBSTITUTE FOR GUTS!

Either you have guts or you don’t. To be in Network Marketing, you need to have thick skin, guts to talk to people and get things done. Make things happen. There is no substitute for guts. Not everyone has guts. Maybe that’s why only 3 % of those involved in Network Marketing succeed. If you don’t have guts, you can learn to have guts. It takes practice. It takes doing something over and over again. Such as calling people, talking to people about your business, saying no to those you know will not be focused on the prize. The more you do it, the easier it becomes, but there is no substitute for guts.

THE MORE I WORK MY BUSINESS THE LESS I CALL IT WORK!

Many say it takes a lot to run your own business. That may be true, but have you ever had so much passion for something that you do it because you enjoy it? That’s what I feel when I’m running my business. I enjoy meeting people. I enjoy talking to others and helping them to have a better life. I own my business so it’s a great feeling when I see it grow and I prosper.

I enjoy building my down line and helping them to succeed. The more I work my business the less I call it work!

My Three Year Journey to Financial Freedom

I have been in the workforce, working outside of the home for thirty-four years. I have always known there is a better way. You see, I’ve never liked the idea of working for someone else, so no wonder Network Marketing just made sense to me. With all those years of experience in the workforce, there is still no job security, no flexibility, no opportunity to make as much money as you want to make. That’s what Network Marketing offers you. You will have the opportunity to make as much money as you want, you will have flexibility, you will earn residual income and no one can come in and take your business from you or fire you from your business. Even though I have been in the workforce for thirty-four years, I am still quite young to be retiring. You see, I started working at a very young age. I have a goal and a desire to retire young enough to be able to travel and enjoy my years in retirement. I have set a goal and a timeframe of three years to retire myself from the workforce and to continue to run my Network Marketing Business exclusively through retirement. You see, with my Network Marketing business, it allows me to continue to earn a substantial income for as long as I want. The best part about it is I can work from anywhere. All I need is a laptop and a phone. So as I travel the states RVing, I can continue earning a great income. So within the next three years, I plan to continue working both; the workforce and my Network Marketing career. I plan to save enough money and pay off my debt so that I am debt free when I retire myself from the workforce. I plan to be financially free in the next three years.

Profiting While on Vacation

One of the many great things associated with managing your own business, or being in business for yourself is the ability to profit at any time. I am on vacation and am still enrolling people into my business and profiting while on vacation. With my business, the only thing I need is a laptop and a phone and I can work. I market my business and receive calls from interested people. The main focus for anyone that calls me, expressing interest in my business is to provide them with the necessary information to make a well informed and educated decision. I will simply return the prospects phone call, provide them with a sizzle number and a website address to my business. The prospect will have the ability to do the research on the business by visiting the website and listening to the call. I ask them to jot down any questions they may have. They will either call me back or I will place a follow-up call to the prospect, answer any questions they may have and possibly welcome them to my team. Seems simple, it is just that simple. I love being in business for myself and profiting while on vacation.

Why Everyone Won't See The Vision

Working at home and starting your own business seems like a great concept, right? Everyone says they would love to do it. Let’s think about it, telecommuting means saving on gas and wear and tear on your vehicle; saves money on clothing; and if you have children, think about the saving on daycare and the cost of childcare. Then why is it that the majority of people work outside the home for someone else?
Most Work at Home jobs are actually careers. At home careers that an individual invests an amount of money in to build themselves at home. Many people are not motivated to do this. To start your own career takes motivation, dedication, persistence and it means being consistent in order for it to work. It requires hard work for the first 2-4 years to get in good profit. Most people would forgo the idea and work for someone else because they find safety in doing so. However, lately, with the recession, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find and maintain a great job. As seen on TV, people are turning to Network Marketing in order to supplement their income. MLM or Network Marketing is job security, recession-free, debt-free. The reason why many people will not see the vision is because they do not trust that the business will offer what they promise to offer. There are a lot of scams out there on the Internet and people do not have the funds to take such a risk in order to find their niche in business.
There are a lot of positives associated with starting your own career at home. There is huge tax breaks, freedom and flexibility, make any amount of money you want, a chance to spend more time with family and vacation whenever you want. The opportunity to earn Residual Income.
We live in a do it now quick, society, and many people just will not put forth the effort to work hard for a short period of time to finance their future. Call it laziness, untrustworthy or just plain disbelief and you will know why everyone will not see the vision. But know this, many will.

Working Towards Success

I went into business for myself because I have always wanted to own my own business. I currently have a full time job that I work outside the home. However, I am working towards my own success and my future. I have set a goal of retiring myself from my JOB in 2-3 years. I plan to work my home business exclusively in my retirement. I have chosen the goal of 2-3 years because I feel that during this time frame, I will grow my business enough to be in great profit within this time. I know that starting your own career and going into business for yourself takes hard work. I will need to work my business consistently and persistently during this 2-3 year's time, building a residual income so that I can retire from the JOB I have held over 19 years. I have a plan and a goal for my business and I know that nothing will stop me from accomplishing the things I have set out to do. I am working towards success. I have to devote time, effort and money towards the success of my future. My husband is already retired and we have future plans on what we want to do with our lives and where we want to live. This is my "Why", the reason that I am working towards success and my future.

The Joy of Mentoring

As a Network Marketer, I help people everyday. I help people to save money and I help people to make money. I love to help people. It gives me a sense of purpose in life. It's a great feeling. Part of my job as a Network Marketer is to build a down line. Building a down line requires me to train and coach my down line members. Again, helping people. It allows me to help people to live the life they have dreamed of. I bring their dreams to life. Sometimes I equate the feeling to that of what a teacher probably feels when they give their students an "A". When you build a down line of like-minded people, the feeling is indescribable. However, mentoring can be very time-consuming. You have to have patience and understanding. You can be teaching, training, and mentoring several people at the same time. No two people will learn at the same pace. You have to devote time to help people to achieve their level of success. As they succeed, you succeed. You are a leader. As a leader, you have responsibilities to your down line. A good leader meets with their team regularly and builds a strong bond between their team and themselves. Although it can be a lot of work involved, I wouldn't trade it for anything. This is how you know that you are in the right industry. I enjoy it! I love everything about it! There's joy in mentoring.

The Best Place to Work

What if you went to work everyday and was approached by someone that displayed pure joy and excitement about working for the company or business, would you consider that a great place to work?
This happens to me almost everyday, except I don't go out to work, I work from home. Now before you think I am about to pitch a business to you, I can assure you that this is not my intention. This is truly about the feeling of joy, excitement and appreciation when working in MLM and Network Marketing industry.
For those that have read my blogs, articles and visited my profile, you know that I am a Network Marketing Mentor and Coach and I help people to work from home and successfully earn a great income. I am a member of a strong, successful team and we all help one another to reach their goals.
As team members within the company, reach their goals, they are promoted within the company. When they are promoted, they are asked to write a short biography of themselves and their experiences that have gotten them to where they are today. Their stories are shared amongst the team and the company via email. Their stories are real. Their stories are yours and mine. Their stories are from their heart. Their stories are as unique as the individual. These stories come from people from all walks of life. All different ages. You can feel that they are bursting at the seams with excitement. In this current economic crisis, it is not often that you hear success stories from everyday people.
So as I go to my computer on a daily basis, to work, to social network, blog, write an article, prospect or check my email; I am greeted by a team member that has reached a promotion. The subject line reads "Congrats to..... For Reaching whatever Level of Promotion." I open this email and I see bells and whistles, confetti, balloons and a picture of the newly promoted King or Queen. When I read their stories, it brings me joy. It puts a smile on my face. We all know the struggle and fight it can be to succeed in this industry. It's nice to know that people are succeeding and growing everyday. Especially when the story comes from a person you brought into the business.
When I was new to the business, it was these stories that helped me to perservere. Reading these true stories kept me motivated. It confirms “anyone can do this”. It is our way of applauding success.
